New Paving Area

This local project got underway with the ground work started last December and it really is coming on now. The pools will sit perfectly within the raised bank with steps that meander around the bottom pool taking you to the top area, where you will step over a short cascade following around a second pool and eventually winding your way along a cobble path up to a third natural pool and secluded seating area. All of the dry stone effect walling around the raised pools will be built in Cornish stone which we adore for its colour and texture.

Steps

The steps are nearly complete, a yew hedge will be planted to the right of the steps to give a more secluded feel as you wind your way to the top with subtle lighting built in to every other step to aid those night time walks and to add atmosphere.

Pool Area

This is yet another part of the project site, liner just gone in to this large pool area which will be planted with native species in-keeping with the surrounding area it sits in. All of the soil taken from the feature will be used elsewhere on the site. It really has been fantastic soil to work with, very free draining and in some parts almost pure sand,, the weather always helps as well!! and fingers crossed it has not been that bad at all.
